Product Solutions
Fats, Oils, and Grease (FOG) Mitigation
Organic material like FOG can accumulate in places like drains and grease traps, leading to business disruptions due to clogs and system backups. The Bacillus bacteria in SporActiv® work to increase FOG digestion, removing it from the system. This digestion proactively reduces future FOG accumulation, reducing the need for costly mechanical pump-outs.
Odor Reduction
While traditional chemical cleaners are a popular choice for odor reduction, many of them simply mask the unpleasant smells and do not attack the problem at its source. SporActiv® Bacillus, however, use odor-causing compounds as food, digesting them and effectively removing them from the application site. Consuming these compounds allows Bacillus to multiply, producing new bacteria that continue to eat away at odor sources and extending the effectiveness of the product beyond initial application.
Stain Removal
Most stains that result from food spills or pet messes are made up of elements like starches, proteins, and fats. Our Bacillus strains produce enzymes that specifically target such elements, breaking them down into smaller molecules that are easy for the bacteria to digest.
Waste System Treatment
Accumulated organic material can be a problem for waste systems like septic tanks and portable toilets that are treated with traditional chemicals, as these products can sometimes slow the native bacteria’s waste digestion process and make the system more difficult to clean out. MDG’s Bacillus-based ingredients are designed to enhance the natural biology in waste systems, allowing for increased breakdown of waste and more efficient clean-outs.
